It shows the Székely architecture of the old town away from the resort, and the parish house next to it is a listed monument (MS-II-m-B-16032).
About the place
The church was built in 1937–1939 to plans by master builder Andor Joós, paid for by donations and by the bequest of Veress József, who opened Sovata's first bath. It has a rectangular plan and a side tower with two bells.
The coffered ceiling holds 132 motifs and Bible verses. Carved wooden posts and a Székely gate stand by the church, and the Reformed parish house from the early 20th century is on the list of historic monuments.
